Acquest Reality Advisors, Inc.’s activities have grown to significant proportions in recent years and its portfolio of successfully completed projects now exceeds $500 million and includes many diverse projects, ranging in scope from medical office buildings to large conference/convention centers and headquarter hotels.

Acquest takes single-source responsibility for each development project, coordinating all of the pre-development, design, construction, pre-opening and completion activities. Acquest’s team of development professionals is proficient in all aspects of the hotel conference/convention center development process including site selection, land acquisition and entitlement, financial feasibility analysis, project budgeting and scheduling, the structuring of ownership and financing options as well as the negotiation of management and franchise agreements.

Acquest’s headquarter hotel/conference/convention center development efforts have been primarily focused on projects in secondary and tertiary markets with economic development objectives. Acquest works to align the project scope, design and brand with the market demand and reconciles the project’s programming with public and private capital sources and return requirements to create a viable funding approach and a sustainable business. Its successful experiences in developing the H Hotel and the Dow Leadership Academy in Midland, Michigan, The MeadowView Marriott Conference Resort & Convention Center, in Kingsport, Tennessee the Trenton Marriott Conference Hotel, in Trenton, New Jersey, The Erie Sheraton Bayfront Hotel and Convention Center in Erie, Pennsylvania and the Harrison Square Courtyard by Marriott convention center hotel in Fort Wayne, Indiana have helped to establish Acquest’s reputation as one of the nation’s premier hotel, convention and conference center developers. Each of these projects has successfully matured under Acquest’s asset management and The H Hotel and MeadowView Marriott have recently completed major expansions which Acquest was responsible for managing. In addition to the aforementioned completed projects, Acquest regularly serves in a consulting capacity for prospective headquarter hotel projects. Recent clients include Oklahoma City, for whom Acquest served as the hotel expert on a team working to identify a convention center site in their downtown, the City of Edmond Oklahoma, for whom Acquest advised on a potential public/private hotel conference center development and the City of Ft. Myers, Florida where Acquest was the master developer, in partnership with the City, for a Riverfront Redevelopment Plan in downtown Fort Myers, Florida. The Plan includes a new headquarter hotel and the renovation and expansion of the existing city owned Harborside Event Center. In its role as the master developer, Acquest oversees all aspects of the redevelopment plan including identifying the appropriate programming of the headquarter hotel consistent with the market and convention/conference facility, testing the physical and financial feasibility of the proposed headquarter hotel convention/conference center and, pulling together public and private capital sources of funding and financing.  Acquest served as the project manager for Phase I ,(now complete), of the plan, including the design, engineering, permitting and construction of a storm water management basin, designed to be the signature water feature for the River District and home of the hotel and parking garage, (currently in design and scheduled for completion in 2019) and several waterfront restaurants.
